5 Types Of Couples We've All Seen On Valentine’s Day

Valentine's Day is upon us, and this is when the couples reveal themselves. It's the season of flowers, chocolates, and cliche love notes. Over the years, I've all different types of couples and let me tell you, there are some very interesting ones out there.

Here are the top 5 couples that I've seen on Valentine's Day:

The Over-Doers

These couples who go all out for Valentine's Day like it's New Years. They buy each other gifts that cost as much as a year's worth of college tuition. Their outfits for the day scream Valentine's Day red, pink, and white. Their schedule is fully packed for the day with couple-related activities, and there is no stopping them.

The Florists and Chocolatiers

This couple keeps things simple and short and sweet to the point. They are aware that it's Valentine's Day, and it's usually the boyfriend who buys the girlfriend red roses and a bouquet of flowers with a cute customized card tucked inside. They may even go out to a fancy restaurant for dinner to finish it off.

Valentine’s Day Who-ers?

These are the couples that don't even know that Valentine's Day is on the day that it is. They do not celebrate it nor do they care to celebrate it because it could be overrated to them or they treat Valentine's Day like any other day they would spend as a couple.

The Social Media Goers

Giphy

This is the couple that announces their whole love story on their social media (most likely Instagram). It's a 5 paragraph post where they tell the public about how they met, their ups and downs, and how much they still love each other. It can get a little cringey sometimes.

PDA Overloaders

These couples show a little too much affection in public on Valentine's Day. Rather than holding hands, they're making out like no one's watching. I'm sure at some point in our lives we've been the ones in that uncomfortable situation not know whether to step away or pretend to not notice.
