5 Types of Everyday Internal Conflict

1. I should get out of bed, but it’s so comfortable.
It’s not every day you jump out of bed alert and ready to take on the day. In fact, you usually moan and groan about having to get out of bed because it’s one of the most comfortable places in the world. You know you should get out of bed. It’s what your mom would want you to do, but sometimes lounging in bed a little bit longer is exactly what you need.

2. I should go to the gym, but it’s such a long walk.
You know going to the gym is the healthy option, but sometimes getting to the gym is a daunting task. Walking over to the JC in frigid temperatures isn’t your idea of a good time. To go to the gym or to keep doing what you’re doing?

3. I should do my homework, but Netflix is calling my name.
You hate being labeled as a procrastinator, but it’s hard to say no to Netflix. Binge watching Netflix is a talent of many. It’s not easy watching an entire season of "Friends" in one day. Homework can wait.

4. I should eat healthy, but ice cream sounds too good.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but you’d rather grab a bite supporting a philanthropic restaurant night. It’s hard to go a day without hearing about a restaurant night that supports a wonderful organization. So why not get ice cream to support the cause! It might not be healthy, but it sure is generous.

5. I should dress presentable, but leggings are way more comfortable.
College is one of the only times in which it’s acceptable to wear leggings and oversized tops, so you capitalize on the opportunity as often as possible. When you graduate you’ll find shirts that don’t overwhelm your body and pants that don’t mold to your legs. Until then, get used to these leggings and giant t-shirts because they are comfortable.

5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone
Youtube

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.

SpongeBob and Patrick - I'm ready

For eight semesters of college, we go through the same week in which we do absolutely nothing. The classes don't really matter yet and all everyone is doing is going out every second they can. According to students across the country, it's a waste of time and a reason to drink.
