After the binge-watching months of summer come to a close, the weekly fall favorite TV shows begin again. The nights of watching four or five episodes in a row are no longer an option with episodes airing only once a week. People quickly turn toward their live TV rather than their laptops. With the change in season comes an anticipation for new shows and returning favorites. Here are just five of the most eagerly awaited premieres, both old and new, of fall 2017.

1. The Good Doctor

This new show created by David Shore is already receiving lots of talk. Set to air on September 25th on ABC, this drama will star Freddie Highmore and follow an intricate storyline. The plot revolves around a young surgeon who has autism and Savant syndrome. He is drafted into the pediatric surgical unit of a highly acclaimed hospital and the show follows his results. Will he be able to help people he cannot truly connect with?

2. How To Get Away With Murder

At 10 PM on September 28th, How To Get Away With Murder will return for its fourth season. It is part of ABC’s famous TGIT lineup. The plot follows a group of college students studying law who get mixed up in a mysterious murder plot. It stars Viola Davis who does an amazing job at her role. Catch up on all the other seasons on Netflix – it is one you will not want to miss!

3. Greys Anatomy

Greys Anatomy comes back to us on the same night, September 28th as it is also part of ABC’s TGIT. It has made it to its fourteenth season and is still a huge success. It’s well-known by people of all ages, but as a refresher, it is a medical-based drama following the life of Meredith Grey and her journey towards becoming a successful surgeon. The show follows her ups and downs along this journey both professionally and personally.

4. This Is Us

This Is Us returns for its second season on NBC on Tuesday, September 26th. It won over the hearts of many people in the fall of 2016 and has been trending on Hulu ever since. In fact, it has already won two Emmy awards. It's a perfect family show. It follows the lives of a mother and her three triplets at two different points in time. It is unique in its presentation and definitely worth a watch.

5. Riverdale

Riverdale captivated many teens as it was trending on Netflix throughout the past summer, myself included. Although only one season has been released, it quickly became addicting. It takes place in a small town called Riverdale which has recently lost one of their own, Jason Blossom. The series begins as people hear about this tragedy and follows the lives of many in the town as well as the hunt to figure out what happened. It will return to the CW on October 11th. Mark your calendar!

Hopefully, this gave you some ideas for your next show to watch. All five are great options and there are so many more out there returning very soon. Happy fall and happy watching!

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
