If you are a college student then you know how it is. In college there is no such thing as sleep, we are too busy to sleep because of classes, doing homework and studying for those classes, going to work, having a social life and basically just trying to make it through each day ignoring the voice in the back of our head tell us to just drop out, move to Vegas and become a stripper already. But a solution to this problem has been solved! Here are five totally effective ways to get more sleep as a college student.
1. Just don't go to class.
Yes it is that simple. If you don't go to class then that gives you 2 to 7 more hours, depending on how many classes you are taking, to hit the hay. Don't worry about missing an important lecture because you can always ask a friend or the weird kid that sits next to you to takes notes for you. I am sure they would be more than happy to take notes for you while you catch some moe Z's.
2. Don't do your homework.
You thought going to class took time away form sleeping, well the loads of homework and studying you are suppose to do takes away even more. So throw out those textbooks and binders and jump back into bed where you can rest easy knowing you are probaly going to fail out of college. But hey! At least you got a good night and day's sleep! Totally worth it!
3. Toss your social life out the window.
Now that you have basically quit school so you can sleep your life away you have realized that school wasn't the only thing taking away form your precious nap time but your friends too. People are always asking you to grab a bite to eat and hangout and comfort them when their cat dies.
Well not anymore, sleeping is so much more important than having daily interactions with other humans. If you never talk to anyone every again, except your mom always talk to your mom, then you will have so much more time to sleep and dream of how you turned into a antisocial crazy person who only talks to lady bugs. But don't worry it's just a dream.
4. Don't waste your time eating food.
They say that one can die of sleep deprivation before starvation, so it's food or sleep. Yeah, it's a easy choice. The best part about quitting food is that you will never have to worry about dieting or eating healthy ever agin because you will be eating nothing, and i hear that nothing has basically no calories! So it's a win-win!
5. Just don't leave your bed.
Believe it or not we spend so much time getting up and going to the bathroom and showering and brushing our teeth all that time adds up time that could be spend sleeping. You gave up human interaction, except with your mom, so no one is going to know how bad you smell and your mom has to love you no matter what so it's fine.
So there it is, 5 totally effective ways to get more sleep in college. I would not recommend actually doing any of these steps because it is a terrible idea. But all in all doing these steps will definitely result in any college student getting more sleep. If you do choose to try these steps... well good luck.
