Once upon a time, I was an Asian dude who always hated selfies, I hated to see people taking selfies out in the public, and I hated seeing girls doing the Duck face. But now, everything changed. I’ve become one of them, I’ve joined the society of Selfies, which is kind of like the Illuminati; we don’t know if they exist, but we can feel that they’re there. That’s the Selfie society.

Now, moving on to the important tips that you all have waited for, how to take the perfect selfie.

1. Having a good front and back camera phone

This is probably the most obvious one. If you want a crisp, high-quality selfie of your face, what would you do? Get a good smartphone with a good front facing and back camera. Here are some good phones to get: iPhone 7, Samsung Galaxy S7, Google Pixel...

2. Lighting

The lighting is essential to any selfie. First, the bigger the light, the better the selfie. Secondly, always let the light shine on your face to show all of your beautiful features, or a better option is by taking advantage of the natural sunlight, which is the best light source you can have to take a perfect selfie.

3. The background

When taking a selfie, you would want to take it with a beautiful background. That showcases your personality. The background will tell others what kind of things you like to do with your free time.

4. The Angle Matters.

Angle is definitely important, because it can bring out good and bad qualities. I can definitely say that everyone wants to impress their peers with their ability to take a selfie at a good angle.

5. Editing

After taking your perfect selfie, it’s time to make it look amazing by simply cropping your photo, not only does it minimize the photo, but it will also pop your best feature. And finally, filters. Those filters on Instagram and Snapchat are fantastic. I admit that I used to hate that dog filter on Snapchat, but now I love it. Just pick the right filters that will make your face really show how confident of a person you really are.

Extra tip: Get a selfie stick, there's a reason they were made.

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.
