If you are in a sorority, then chances are you've had an encounter with puffy paint. Every sorority has the girl who can create detailed art with only puffy paint, while anyone else using puffy paint creates a big blob of mess. Well here are a few tips for the beginner that can hopefully help you become your chapter's puffy paint guru.

1. Practice

You'd be seriously surprised how many beginners just go right for it. Relieve yourself of the stress and hair pulling and just practice puffy painting before you begin your project.

2. Keep the Pressure Even

To create even lines, keep the pressure even when squeezing the bottle. Another helpful tip, is to shake the bottle often to keep all the paint near the tip.

3. First Use Pencil

For beginners, it would be a lot easier to make your designs with pencil first and puffy paint over the line. Once you've had enough practice, you can start free handing.

4. Puffy Paint is easily removable

You can scrape it off or wash it off. If you make a mistake, it is easily removable so don't freak out!

5. DO NOT TOUCH

For the love of God, don't touch the puffy paint!! Give it at least a day or maybe two. Puffy paint takes a long time to dry and after all that hard work, you don't want to mess up your project!

Hopefully these tips have helped! Just remember to practice! and that Puffy paint goes on practically everything: glass, wood, felt, fabric, plastic etc... So craft on fellow puffy painters!

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
