Congratulations! You've made it halfway through the semester and you are now thinking about Spring Break. Now, you've probably been thinking about this week since the first day of the semester but, now it's right around the corner or it's finally here and you couldn't be any happier. Some people have big plans that involve vacations and some have plans to stay home and work their asses off; but whether you're one or the other, here are 5 thoughts you typically have over Spring Break.
1. I finally get to sleep in my own bed.
This is the first thought you have as you're leaving your campus to head home. Oh how you have taken your bed at home for granted as you've been sleeping on a brick for the past few months. That first night of sleep in your bed has been well-deserved for all the procrastination you've been doing.
2. What's for dinner?
Let's be honest; if you weren't coming home to home-cooked meals then you wouldn't be coming home. You've missed your mom's cooking and the dining hall never gets it just right. Plus, a week away from whatever the hell they make on campus is always a wonderful thing.
3. Why don't all schools have the same spring break?
So you're sitting at home bored and you think about hitting your friends up only to find out they're still in school and their spring break isn't until the end of yours. But, maybe it is a good thing you don't have the spring break as them because your town is safe from the mayhem you all cause together.
4. Where are my ________?
You don't actually realize how many things you brought with you to college until you forget to bring something home you really needed. You don't think you'll need your straightener until you're having a bad hair day during break and the only thing that could fix it is your straightener you left at school.
5. How stressed can I make myself the night before break ends?
Your professors gave you assignments to do while you're supposed to be on vacation? How dare they! Do they not know how much you love to sit around doing nothing all week? I mean it's not like you do the same thing at school or anything.
