5 Thoughts While Going Through the Harry Potter Studio Tour

Harry Potter. I've been a fan for as long as I can remember and have reread the books and watched the movies more times than I can count. So going to the Harry Potter Studio Tour at Leavesden Studios was a dream come true. Here's a little tour of what it was like.

1. *Cue Hedwig's theme for a short intro video* Do not cry. Its too early in the tour to cry. Whatever I'm gonna cry.

2. *Sees Gryffindor Common Room* No one would notice if I just sat really still in one of the fluffy chairs. I could totally live here...

3. *Butterbeer* Heck yes this is my jam! I'm gonna be a wizard, or at least drink like one. I wonder if I should get two glasses? Definitely gonna need two.

4. *Walks into room with model of Hogwarts Castle* Merlin's baggy pants that's Hogwarts. Like the real one that's actually in the movies. I'm never leaving. I just need a shrink ray...

5. *Sees Hogwarts robes in the gift shop* I want them. I really want them. Then I look at the price tag. Maybe I don't want the robes. Nope. Still do. Where's the checkout line?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
