Thanksgiving and has passed and students everywhere are awaiting Christmas break. In the few weeks between these, though, students are faced with many dilemmas including exams, money, and straight up just wanting to go home. Every year it seems like these are the most pointless weeks of fall semester.
1. Why am I still at school?
Thanksgiving break is such a tease, and going back to school seems like such a chore. It's easy to catch yourself wondering why you even bothered to make the trek from your hometown back to school for the measly 2 weeks in between your favorite holidays.
2. It's Christmas szn!
Deck the halls (or the dorm rooms)! Thanksgiving has passed which means it's finally Christmas season. It's hard to focus on anything else besides the fact that everyone's favorite season has arrived. There is one bad thing about it though that we all ask ourselves...
3. How am I supposed to pay for Christmas presents?
It's December and you now have less than a month to find enough money to buy presents for your family and friends. There's so much you want to give, but, let's be honest, there's just not enough money to go around. Thank God for seasonal jobs.
4. Can I go home already?
Every day is one day closer to sleeping in your own bed and eating an alarming amount of homemade food. It seems like everyone on-campus is counting down.
5. Exams, exams, exams.
It's exam season. Whether you have three written exams or multiple papers and projects, it's a rough week for everyone. The library is filled and it seems like there's not enough time for everything you have to do. Exams and finals seem to rule your life.
