Spring break: a wonderful time of the year. Right in the middle of the semester, usually right after midterms so you barely have any work. You also get to sleep in (so long as your mom does not schedule all doctors appointments at 8 A.M. to torture you). How can things get any better? Well, I can tell you how they get worse. It is Sunday night, and you now have to get back into school mode because spring break is over and you have a 9 A.M. on Monday morning. These thoughts run through all of our minds when going back to school after spring break:

1. Being on spring break, and getting into full on summer mode

2. Not knowing anything when you get back to class.

3. Wanting to just toss in the towel for the semester with 2 months left.

4. Seeing that email from the professor saying "Welcome back!"

5. Finally, having to leave your pets.

May the rest of the semester treat you well, and you will survive!

I am without a doubt one of those people who refuses to start decorating for Christmas or listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, Thanksgiving has become an underrated holiday over the years. You barely see any Thanksgiving decorations in stores; it's like they skip right from Halloween to Christmas.

Some universities only get two or three days off for Thanksgiving break. Or, if your university is like mine, you get the whole week off go go home. A whole week off is a long time. I'm not complaining, because I'd rather have a whole week off than three days, but there is a lot of down time. Here are some ideas as to what you can do to get the most out of your Thanksgiving break.

For college students everywhere, Thanksgiving is a time to relax and not really worry about homework (well, depending on what major you're in).
