In case you haven't heard, it is already April. Which means school is almost over! While summer is so close, there still is a month left of non-stop stress. April can be very bitter-sweet. While getting a break from school is exciting, you have to get ready to leave all your friends and the place you called home for almost a year. While stress is the main feeling students will describe, there are other thoughts jumbled around in our brains.
1. Wait...there's only how many weeks of school left??
The realization that it's already April is terrifying. It snuck up so fast and now I only have three weeks to pull my grades out of the grave.
2. I probably should've started this work earlier
The last weeks of school will be filled with papers, projects, and tests. It seems as though teachers also didn't realize how little time we have left and decided to pile everything on in the last month.
3. We have to make the most of the last weekends
While stressing about all the work that is piling up, you also are worried that you won't be able to hang out with friends and go out the last weekends of school. The pressure to make the weekends the best they can be is definitely rising.
4. A whole year of college already gone
I'm a freshman, and the idea that I only have three more years of college is truly horrible. I can't imagine how fast the rest of my time at college will go by if my freshmen year passed in the blink of an eye.
5. Almost summer time!!!
While it is very sad that you have to leave all your friends behind for three months, you also get to be at home for three months! Summer is right around the corner and the one thing that will keep me going throughout the last weeks of the school year.
