As the semester nears its end, we, as students, are eager for the semester to end. The last few weeks of the semester are undoubtedly the most stressful weeks of the entire semester. Once we complete our last final, we experience a great relief and excitement. Going home for the holidays is wonderful. As college students go home for the holidays, there are things we think about while we are away from school.

1. We love Christmas.

I personally spend most of my break excited about Christmas because I just love Christmas! I am always singing Christmas music around the house, and it drives my family crazy.

2. We are surprised that we have nothing to do.

As soon as I finished with my last final, I literally had nothing to do. I thought that I was going to go crazy knowing that I had nothing to do. It is a weird feeling and will not last long, but it is relief knowing that we can relax.

3. We love being with our family.

I love all of the family time that comes with the holidays. Christmas parties with family are the best. I don't even care so much about the presents; I just love spending time with my family.

4. We miss being at school.

I seriously miss Brenau so much that I can hardly stand it. I miss singing and playing piano. I miss my sorority sisters. I miss being in the music department. Brenau is my home and I enjoy every minute there.

5. We spend time appreciating our school.

I honestly spend so much time thinking about how much I love my school. Somehow, being at home for the break makes me really appreciate Brenau. I honestly believe that it I the best school. and couldn't be more thankful.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
