We've all been there... Single. Lonely. Bored on a Friday night... What makes it even more unbearable is when the majority of your gal pals are in happy relationships or are currently "talking" to a guy. It's not that we wish we could just date someone already. (I hope not anyway. Remember your standards, ladies.) But we wouldn't mind feeling special and loved on every now then... Here are five things you've said; if you're anything like me....

1) "No, really guys, you don't have to set me up with anyone."

2) "Aw... yeah, you guys are adorable..."


3) "No, I don't care that I just saw my ex......"


4) "I don't get why I'm single.... I'm a catch..."


5) "I have the biggest crush but I forgot how to act on it...."

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
