5 Things You've Been Doing Wrong The Whole Time

Sometimes when the majority of society does something one specific way, it's hard to do it the contradicting way. Here are 5 things you've been using/ doing wrong!

1. Bobby pins

You're actually supposed to keep the smooth side on the outer most side. Shocking right?

2. Eating apples

Eating your apple top to bottom is actually the best way to reduce the amount of wastage!

3. Drying nail polish

Drying your nails can be a pain especially when you're multitasking and you're also trying to not mess up your nail polish. Here's a solution, put your hand in ice and cold water to dry your nails fast!

4. Peeling a banana

Even though it's the most basic of things, you're actually peeling a banana wrong if you're peeling it from the top. Start from the bottom and it makes everything so much easier!

5. Removing the leaves on strawberries

Sometimes pulling the green leaves off the strawberry can get annoying especially when it doesn't fully come off. So try this instead! Stick a straw in from the bottom, and it'll take the leaf right off!

5. There’s a 50/50 chance that your name will come back either correct or incorrect at Starbucks

6. People try to find shorter, easier nicknames for you instead of calling you by your actual name

7. When someone famous or fictional character shares your name, you get so happy

8. “What’s your name?” “It’s [name]” “I’m sorry, what was it again?”

9. You’ve pretty much seen every misspelling and heard every mispronunciation of your name throughout your life

10. When you find another person with an “ethnic” sounding name, you both get excited

11. Despite the struggles, your name is pretty unique… just like you

2. “Is Puerto Rico near Mexico?”

3. “Do you speak Puerto Rican?”

4. “You look too light/dark to be Puerto Rican.”

6. “Geez, you are obsessed with your flag. We get it, you’re Puerto Rican.”

7. “Why are you so loud?”

8. “So does your family know English?”

9. “Oh my god, Puerto Ricans are so spicy.”

10. “So did you eat a lot of tacos?”

11. “Are you Mexican?”
