Every group has, and is quite thankful for, the mom friend. That one specific person in your friend group who's purse is packed full with crap you probably won't need, but you're thankful you have. These are 5 things every mom friend does.
1. You fret
About everything. When I say everything, I mean everything. If there's a storm, you worry. If there's an accident on I-30, you're making sure your friends mom, dog, and sister are all safe and at home. You have a friend group chat, but its better known as your worry chat, with constant "are you okay? where are you? who are you with?" texts being sent every other hour or so. Most of the time, you keep better track of them than their own families do..
2. Your handbag has everything you could ever possibly need, like ever
In an zombie apocalypse, you would definitely be the one to survive because you most likely have a chain saw and a snack hidden somewhere in the depths of your Mary Poppins purse.
3. You are the friend everyone comes to for advice.
No matter the situation, you are always the friend others can come to for advice, a shoulder to cry on, or just a friendly smile to lift your spirits. No bad situation is a match for the mom friends, because they have a some-what pliable solution to anything and everything.
4. They're basically your "can you spot me" ATM
These friends always keep spare change around just in case you need something, no matter where you are day or night. Another perk of having one of these friends is you have a constant driver and a constant "let me come get you and we'll do something to make it better" friend.
5. They are always there for you 100% no matter what
No matter the situation, the time, the place, these strong girls are always there to protect you and watch over you. Honestly, they're kind of like guardian angels constantly making sure everyone is alright.
Thank your mom friends for the extra lipgloss, band-aid, late-night icecream run and helpful advice. They will always be there for you, but a little extra boost to their flawless mom ego doesn't always hurt!
