Being constantly happy is kind of tough, especially on days when everything is going wrong. Sometimes it is difficult to be happy when you are surrounded by things that make you sad or if your friend is having a bad day. But sometimes you need to look at the positive things in life. Here are some simple ways to be a happier person.
1. Keep a happy journal
Write two or three things every night before you go to sleep that made you happy that day. Therefore, when you are having a bad day, you can go back and look at all the things that made you happy.
2. Eat chocolate
Chocolate is always a go to when you are feeling a little down. It comes in all different shapes and sizes. Just open a carton of chocolate ice cream and jam out by yourself.
3. Laugh with friends
Friends are always there for you whenever you are sad or happy. They know you best and will either help you or just try to make you laugh.
4. Do stuff you wouldn't normally do
Do something exhilarating or something you were too scared to do before!
5. Most importantly tell the people you care about how much they mean to you
This will make them happy as well as you happy. It's always nice to know how much you mean to someone!
