There are over a thousand movies and television shows that anyone with a Netflix account can stream at any time, so it can be difficult deciding what to watch next. Below is a list of different movies and television shows that are necessary to watch by Netflix lovers everywhere.

1. "What's Eating Gilbert Grape"

This movie has an amazing cast, including Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio. The story is based on a novel and follows a young grocery clerk (Depp) and his brother who has a developmental disability (DiCaprio). This movie will make you want to both laugh and cry, and its story line is beautifully bittersweet.

2. "Keith"

"Keith," tells an incredible story of love, loss, and how to live life with not a care in the world. It's different than most romantic dramas, and it doesn't hurt that Jesse McCartney plays one of the leading roles. This movie not only has a dramatic plot twist, but it also has so many unique scenes that make this movie special. It is a must watch for anyone who loves a romantic drama.

3. "Hot Rod"

This comedy stars Andy Samberg as Rod, a self-proclaimed stuntman who is trying to raise money for his stepdad's heart surgery. It is ridiculously hilarious and will keep you laughing while Rod performs ridiculous stunts to try both raise the money and impress a girl. The cast includes not only Samberg but also many other "Saturday Night Live" cast members. Therefore, the script is well written and filled with comedy gold.

4. "Freaks and Geeks"

This show has it all: James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, and that guy from "Inglorious Bastards.""Freaks and Geeks," tells the story of Lindsay Weir and her brother Sam, as they experience high school and its horrible habit of stereotyping everyone. This show is only one season, but it is definitely a show that you can watch over and over again.

5. "Brain Games"

This television show will make you overthink almost every aspect of your day. It challenges your mind by putting it to the test with various "Brain Games." Jason Silva hosts the show with the help of Apollo Robbins, a deception specialist. This is a great show to watch with friends and family while you learn how your mind and their minds work through different optical illusions and tests.
