5 Things to Do with your Pet this Autumn

5 Things to Do with your Pet this Autumn

It's a cool fall day and my go-to is to grab a cup of coffee, a good book, and my hammock. Now that I am a puppy mom (and have always been a cat mom) I have compiled a list of cute things to take my puppy to do.

1. Visit a pumpkin patch. How cute would those little paws on a pumpkin be!

2. Visit an apple orchard. Most orchards are dog friendly and apples are safe for most of your furry friends to eat!

3. Rake the leaves and let your pal scatter them all over the yard. It's good exercise for you and your pup!

4. A nature walk. There are plenty of beautiful trails all over the United States to take your dog to and enjoy the weather.

5. Trick-or-Treating. If you have kids or little siblings, take your pup with you trick-or-treating! It's a great way for your pup to learn how to socialize in big crowds!

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
