1. Read a book (not for school)
Chances are that the bulk of the reading you do is for either work or school. Take some time to grab a book and read some material you actually want to read.
2. Binge watch an entire series
It seems that as I've gotten older, catching shows every week has become harder and harder to do. Lucky we live in the age of streaming, where shows on your to-watch list are only a few clicks away.
3. Cook a recipe you've never made before
Everyone has those go-to recipes, but switch it up! If you've got the time to cook, try out something new. Worst comes to worst, order delivery.
4. Rearrange your room
If you feel like you're tired of your current set up, move things around. Even if it's just switching the position of some art on the walls, giving your room a different arrangement can give be just different enough for it to have a fresh look. Even grab a couple things from the store if you don't mind getting wet.
5. Play some classic games.
No offense to games like Black Ops III or World Of Warcraft, but taking games from simpler times can give you some good childhood nostalgia. Possible ideas include:
- Monopoly
- Uno
- Life
- Checkers
- Trouble
- Connect Four
- Yahtzee
- Charades
- Karaoke
- Candy Land
*Bonus game: Cards Against Humanity. Not a part of your childhood, but that's probably a good thing.
