Ah, how great it is to be back at school. We've all missed our friends, being on campus, and the smell of Kam's. But we can all agree that the past year didn't go perfectly. Maybe we weren't as involved as we said we would or we didn't study as much as we should've. Now that we've got a couple classes under out belt, we know what to change for this new year.
1. Get More Involved
Freshman year we were all getting acclimated to campus. Living away from home for the first time is frightening, especially when you don't know anyone from home. Now that we know how to college, we can focus more of our time on getting involved to beef up our resume and spend more time doing stuff we love.
2. Study More
Although no one wants to say it, we didn't study as much as we should've. Being without parent supervision comes with a sense of freedom, and a lot of going out. Now that we're used to the nightlife and experienced it all before, we can take our time to get our GPA to where we want it.
3. Make New Friends
When it comes to freshman year, no one knows anyone. As soon as you meet someone, you stick by them no matter who it is, just for the sake of not having to do anything alone. But now that we're used to campus and getting more comfortable with everyone, it's the perfect time to branch out and meet new people and make new friends,
4. Be Yourself
Often times freshman year, people lose sight of their true self. They might be around bad influences or exposed to things they don't believe in. This time around, stay true to your beliefs. Don't do anything you that makes you uncomfortable.
5. Exercise More
Hear me out with this one. As much as I complain about working out, we can all agree that it's a great stress reliever. Now that we're a grade higher, classes are only going to get tougher. What better way to work off steam than to exercise.
