With the United States Presidential election coming up on Tuesday, November 8, it is important to think about a few things.
1. VOTE
The American peoples vote may not go directly to the electoral vote but, it does go to the popular vote which is still influential to the election. The right to vote had to be fought for by people of color and females. People of color gained the right to vote through the 15th Amendment which was ratified and took effect February 3rd, 1870. Women gained the right to vote through the 19th Amendment which was ratified and took effect August 18th, 1920 this was less than one-hundred years ago. People in other countries do not have the right to vote and it should be appreciated more by the American people.
2. Do Not Vote Third Party
Voting for a third party candidate like Jill Stein who is from the Green Party will not do any good. Voting for a third party candidate splits the vote and takes them away from the two major parties Democratic and Republican. This is a very important election and votes should not be taken away from the major parties. Third party candidates have no news coverage and are barely spoken of so, they have no chance of winning therefore no one should vote for them.
