Since it is officially Christmas time, that means "25 Days Of Christmas" begins on ABC Family. It is one of the things I look forward to in December and when they release the schedule, I literally jump for joy. As I have grow older I have somehow managed to get more and more excited. While watching these various movies, many things run through my head. Here are a few things that constantly go through my head while watching Christmas movies.

1. OMG, it's actually Christmas!

The fact that Christmas movies are finally playing just puts me into the Christmas mood. We have waited all year for this and the fact that it is actually here gets me so excited yet anxious because it is crunch time to buy gifts for your friends, family and significant others.

2. This is my favorite part.

If you are like me, you have seen almost every Christmas movie possible. Although you have seen the movies way more times then you should have, no matter what happens you will always love certain parts of the movie. For me, I can basically say every part of the movie "Elf" due to the simple fact that it is the greatest!

3. I want to be a kid again.

When most of the old cartoon Christmas movies come one, it brings back a flood of memories. I wish I could be a kid again and have the same excitement I had waking up on Christmas morning. Don't get me wrong, I still get excited but not as much as I used to when I was little. I literally could not sleep on Christmas Eve and now I have no problem because sleep is something I should have never taken for granted.

4. I wish it would snow here.

Since I live in the South, snow is very uncommon. I would love to get up on Christmas morning and have snow covering the ground, but I know that is a one in a million chance. As I watch the various Christmas movies, they all show snow in some way and it makes me yearn for the snow basically every day of December.

5. OMG, it is Christmas!

Yes, this goes through my head most of the time during Christmas movies because I seriously cannot believe after waiting all year, my favorite time of year is here. I am going to take in every moment and watch possibly every Christmas movie I can to get in the Christmas spirit because Christmas is the best!

I am so thankful for ABC Family playing all of my favorite Christmas movies and helping me get in the holiday spirit. Whether I am watching them by myself, surrounded by friends or surrounded by family, I know that these few things will always cross my mind at some point.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
