By now you've seen, or have at least heard of Netflix’s newest hit, Stranger Things. If you have yet to see it, stop what you’re doing and go watch it now. The Duffer Brothers, the show’s creators, beautifully blends 80’s horror movies with modern cinematography. Not to mention, every actor cast in the show does superbly well. This is all-the-more incredible when you understand the shows centers around a group of eleven year old misfits.

The first season of Stranger Things, in all its glory, was only eight one-hour episodes, and the show is so good I finished in two days with the help of my family. We seriously all got hooked onto the show. Netflix very recently confirmed a second season, even releasing the episode titles as teasers. Unfortunately, however, the show will not be returning until 2017, and if you’re anything like me, you’re dying for it to return. Here are a few things to do while you impatiently wait:

1. Rewatch Stranger Things

Seriously. Once you’ve finished the show, rewatch it. The Duffer Brothers put so much into each episode that truly gets missed the first time around.

2. Watch other Netflix Originals

Netflix has been on a roll lately with their original productions. Remember when Orange is the New Black was the best thing around? It’s still good, but there’s so much more than Piper, I promise. Some good comedies include Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Grace and Frankie. If you’re looking for the suspense aspect of Stranger Things, House of Cards has you covered. Don’t be afraid to explore some of the lesser known shows as well, you’ll be surprised on the gems you find!

3. Be Productive

More than likely, you’re procrastinating if you’re watching Netflix. Now that you’ve finished one bomb series, get your stuff done before binging another bomb series. It sucks but you probably really need to shower, do your laundry, or worse, homework.

4. Descend into Madness

This one is self-explanatory.

5. Rewatch Stranger Things...again

The only way to truly get your ST fix is to watch the show over again. I assure you it is that good that you will watch the season more than once. The acting, the music, the concept, all of it is so incredibly unique and wonderful it will keep you coming back for more.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
