1. Go ice-skating at Rockefeller Center.

Whether you are a pro ice-skater or not, this needs to be on your to-do list. Surrounded by city lights and the beautiful, enormous christmas tree, this is not something you would want to skip out on. Rent your skates for $45 and skate away with your friends. Afterwards, grab a hot chocolate to take in the city lights.

2. See The Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular.

The Rockettes have been performing this Christmas Spectacular since 1982. It is a music and dance extravaganza that cannot be missed!

3. Check out 5th Avenue window displays.

This photo speaks for itself. After months of preparation, wonderful Christmas window displays are shown throughout every store on 5th Avenue. Take a stroll and see visual merchandising at its finest.

4. Take a walk through the Union Square Christmas Market.

The Union Square Market holds hundreds of different shops selling jewelry, men and women's clothing, home decor, treats, and more! So if you are struggling to find that one person the perfect Christmas gift, here would be a great place to get your search on.

5. Take a look at The Empire State Building.

To end your fun-filled day in New York City, go see the Empire State Building. It will be lit with green and red to fill the city with Christmas spirit.
