So guys, it's finals week. I've been studying hard and now I'm ready to be done and to never have to take those classes again. The light is at the end of the tunnel, the finish line is in sight. But if you're not feeling particularly motivated to get things done, here's a list that will hopefully help you to find things to look forward to once this week is over.

1. All the TV Shows and YouTube videos you can catch up on*

Time to binge-watch like a boss.

*after you've finished your finals. Try to avoid binge-watching some Netflix original at three am when you have a speech at 9 the next morning.

2. Eating that delicious Christmas meal

Nothing tastes better than eating that delicious Christmas dinner.

3. Getting together with family

Time to catch up with all your extended family and learn all the new gossip!

4. Getting to see your pets

God bless.

5. Gift giving and receiving

I love getting gifts, but I also love giving them, because I love seeing people's reactions when they love them.

There you have it! I hope those few things give you some motivation to finish up those papers, take those tests, and give those presentations. They'll all be done soon. Good luck everyone!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
