1. Granola Bars
For when you are running out to class but haven't had lunch yet or in between classes, granola bars will hold you until you get a chance to eat. I personally love Chewy's Chocolate Chip Granola Bar, plus it is only 100 calories. Also, Nature Valley is good but I find them messier and it's harder when you are on the go.
2. Rain Boots
I am telling you that these saved me on rainy days. The sidewalks throughout campus tend to get flooded, especially by the dorms, so I cannot express how important it is to get a pair of rainboots! They don't have to be fancy, in fact, a cute pair from Target would be perfect just so that your feet aren't soaking once you get to class.
3. Air Freshener
Coming in and out with your shoes, bookbag, jacket, you will want to have some air freshener. I prefer Febreeze because you can just spray it right on the fabric and it smells so good.
4. Favorite Blanket
This really helped me my freshman year because it was a piece of home, and I could lay comfortably with it when I was studying, watch TV, or anything else. Most people buy a new blanket when they are getting all of their dorm stuff, but I would highly recommend bringing the one you always use from home and you can always take it back and forth.
