1. Something is always due.
'Free time' is almost always spent worrying about when the next assignment or exam is. This makes finding time to relax fairly difficult, but working hard is always rewarding.
2. Routines are hard to establish.
Before college, most of my days were the same: school, sports, homework, shower, sleep. In college, aside from classes and clubs, nothing really has an assigned time. There's simply a list of things to accomplish that day and the order in which they are done doesn't really matter because everyone pursues a different lifestyle.
3. Alone time is rare.
Between classes, living with a roommate, and all of the other aspects of college, finding time for yourself isn't easy. Make the most of the alone time you find! Try something that helps you unwind.
4. Naps are essential.
If you can make it through the day without a nap, you're lucky.
5. It's easier to feel happy.
Hopefully you attend a school where you fit in and are pursuing a major you enjoy. Of course, not everyone is so lucky, but with a myriad of opportunities available in higher education, it's much easier to develop new interests and make each day count.
