The Kardashians are a household name today, just like the Kennedys once were. The Kardashians are America's own 'Royal Family,' and are scrutinized in the public eye more than ever. Their family dynamic may be overwhelming or messy to some people, but I find them refreshing. Ever since I started Keeping Up With The Kardashians, I have found humor in the way they bond as a family and live their lives. The Kardashians are entertaining to watch, follow on social media, and I have even learned a few valuable life lessons along the way! Here are some key lessons I learned, to share with you:

1. Honesty is key.

No matter what, honesty is truly the best policy. All of the Kardashian sisters are honest, no matter what, even if it will hurt someone's feelings. The Kardashians are known for being brutally honest, and I've learned from keeping up that honesty is the way to go.

2. Looking good gets you far.

Whether it be being physically fit, wearing the best outfit, or having the best makeup- the Kardashians always look good. The Kardashian family is known for having bodies that are in shape, wearing the trendiest outfits, and priding themselves on their good looks. The Kardashians teach us all to look our best and to be confident about doing so.

3. Sometimes you have to let it go.

The Kardashians face a lot of hate from social media and the public eye. Their carefree attitudes and not caring what others think is something I envy. The Kardashians have taught us to focus on what really matters, and pay no attention to the negatives in life.

4. It's okay to have some fun.

Being confident and having fun are two things the Kardashian family know all about! From Kim being a modern day socialite, Khloe and Kourtney being a step behind, Kendall being a high fashion model, and Kylie's popularity among teens, each sister loves to be confident and have fun. The Kardashian sisters find the fun in their daily lives and are always confident.

5. Sticking together is what matters most.

The Kardashians may be viewed at negatively in the public eye, but they are a close knit family. They always support one another as a family professionally as well as personally. The way the Kardashian family support and love one another can be a lesson for us all to learn.

The first two weeks of classes have come to an end and they have been anything BUT easy. It seems like life has been serving up more bad than good and in all honesty, the only thing you want to do is crawl under your covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Although this seems like the best solution, it is also the easy way out. Take it from the girl who took basically a whole week off from her life because she just could not handle everything that was being thrown at her. This caused her to feel extremely lonely and even more stressed out for being behind in classes that JUST began.

11 Things We Learned From Brooke Davis

"What's more important? What we become or how we become it?"

Brooke Davis

"She was fiercely independent, Brooke Davis. Brilliant, and beautiful, and brave. In two years she had grown more than anyone I had ever known. Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday, and I'm not sure she even knows it." - Lucas Scott, An Unkindness of Ravens

Brooke Davis of the hit show One Tree Hill was the it girl - she had it all, or so we thought. She started out as a stuck-up, shallow, spoiled, head cheerleader who didn't have her life together. She slept around a lot and loved to party - sounds like your typical high school teenager right? Wrong. B. Davis had so much more to offer. Caring, loyal, and outspoken, she has taught us some valuable lessons throughout the 9 seasons that OTH was on the air:

We all have a person, and when that person makes some new friends, we tend to forget all the great things that can come out of it. Never forget how special they are to you and why you are best friends.
