Hi everyone! My name is Emily Mueller (pictured above), and I'm a first year at Ohio University. To say I'm excited about college is an understatement. I absolutely cannot wait for the fresh start this is going to give me. I graduated from high school a couple of weeks ago, and I've had some time to reflect on my high school career. I think my senior year was the best, and everything before that was subpar. Regardless, I learned a lot in my four years of high school. So, here are five things I have learned over the years.

So there you have it! I can't wait to write more for everyone to see! I wanted this first article to be some sort of "get-to-know-me" style of writing since I'm new to Odyssey. I know this will be a wonderful opportunity for me and I can't wait to share my thoughts and ideas with everyone reading! Until next week!

With any argument, we don't just throw in the towel and say we're done, but we work towards a solution that puts us in a greater place each day. Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
