5 Things That Happen When A College Student Goes Home For Thanksgiving, As Told By 'Spongebob'

Thanksgiving: the one time a year where family and friends gather around to give thanks for what they have, chat a bit and eat. As a college student away from home, thanksgiving is extra important to me and there are five things that I've found that happen every Thanksgiving. Here they are as told by the all-knowing Spongebob.

1. The Anticipation

You have been waiting for this for so long. After being loaded down with so much work for weeks, you can finally get to see your family and friends from home. Not to mention the food.

2. Seeing your family and friends

Seeing them after so long just makes you realize how much you actually missed them. Now for the hugs.

3. Answering questions about school

Time to hide.

4. Time to Eat

When it's finally time to chow down, there's nothing more to do but go ham on some ham.

5. Time to say goodbye

You have to go back to school at some point so goodbyes are inevitable. Here come the waterworks.
