I can't imagine a life where I don't watch Grey's Anatomy.
Spoiler alert below.
1. Shonda hates us
If you love Greys as much as I do, you know that Shonda Rhimes doesn't want us to be happy. She continues to kill off our favorite characters, break up our favorite couples, and more recently throw Alex in jail. Yet for some reason, we never stop watching. Sure, she keeps it interesting, but I would love to see at least one of the characters have a "happily ever after", or at least bring Christina back for an episode. That would be nice too.
2. If you haven't considered becoming a surgeon, you're lying.
There's something about watching the doctors in action that has made me consider med school more than once. I know for a fact that being a surgeon is nothing like what I see on Grey's, and being an intern probably isn't all that fun, but a girl can dream, right? The handsome doctors, the close-knit friendships, plus I've always wanted to say "It's a beautiful day to save lives" and actually mean it. I don't think I could do it, though. I'd have no idea what I was doing.
3. Tears are inevitable
I've cried more times watching Grey's Anatomy than I would like to admit. If you're not crying because something good happened for once, you're sobbing because once again someone's dead. You think that you'd get used to it after 12 seasons. Nope...
4. We all want a 'person.'
If you haven't called your significant other or best friend your "person", are you really a fan? One of the best relationships in Grey's Anatomy history is Christina and Meredith. Without a doubt. Whether it's because they taught you to always "dance it out" or because they always have each other's back. They are the epitome of best friends.
5. Believing we can actually give medical advice
This is definitely something I suffer from. I have somehow convinced myself that I can diagnose not only myself but other people, and on top of that, I think I can actually give them medical advice. Those of you who don't watch Grey's just don't understand.
