6 Things Girls Look Forward To In The Fall

When Autumn comes around, we all think of pumpkins, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. But, that is not all that should be considered in this season. Fall is easily the best time of the year. My friend, Gracelyn, has inspired me to write this article about her favorite season. Growing up I always loved the transition into fall because it meant it was one step closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas. But now, as I am in college, the transition to Fall means a lot more than good weather and beautiful autumn leaves; however, here's what woman think about when fall is approaching...

1. It's the perfect cuddle weather

Any girl could not agree anymore. As the weather changes that automatically means cuddle weather for me. I am a huge cuddle bug (sorry Dean), and so I love snuggling up on a cool day next to my boyfriend and my two adorable pups.

2. Sweater Weather!!

Girls could not agree with me anymore. We absolutely love fall attire because it means cute leggings and sweaters with boots and scarves. I am a fuzzy socks kind of gal, and I cannot wait.

3. Starbucks Fall Menu

I am not a pumpkin fan myself, but everyone can agree that Starbucks has fabulous pumpkin flavored specialties for the fall. Honestly, who doesn't love going to Starbucks to get a coffee to warm you up?

4. Dates

Fall time means perfect date opportunities. There are so many great date night ideas for new relationships, or any couple. For instance, you can go to haunted houses, county fairs, carve pumpkins together, or even cuddle up next to a bonfire.

5. Movie Nights

Not that the picture above would ever happen in reality, but fall means movie nights!! On nights that I don't feel like going out with my friends then i love cuddling up and watching some of our favorite movies.

6. Bonfire & S'mores

Who doesn't love a good bonfire and s'mores in the fall? One of my favorite family traditions that we do is invite all of our friends over for a bonfire and roast marshmallows for our s'mores while telling stories.

I have fallen in love with the idea of fall. I love the weather and the many opportunities that come with this incredible season. Ladies, this is your opportunity to enjoy a warm cup of pumpkin spice coffee from Starbucks or to take advantage of the many great date ideas.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
