Coming to Jacksonville State University? Not sure what to expect? Well, here are 5 things you should definitely expect when coming to JSU. Enjoy!

1. No Parking


Now don't take this too literal. Yes, we have parking but it's not the best. If you live on campus the parking is worse because the majority of parking is for commuters. Just a fair warning UPD will give you a ticket... trust me I got 3 this year!

2. "You may cross Pelham street."


A phrase that will forever be stuck in your head.

3. Long line at Chic-fil-la in the TMB


There may not always be a long line, but when there is, you wait - it's worth it.

4. A good football team to cheer for

A team that has pride, class, and a great fan base. And not to mention, we like to win!

5. The greatness of The Marching Southerners

Last but not least, the Marching Southerners! The greatest marching band in the south. You hear them play and everyone enjoys it. The are like another team to cheer on and be proud of. Blow Southerners!

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area.
