Thanksgiving: a time to over sleep, over eat, and be overly thankful for the many blessings of life.
So, as a result of this year's Thanksgiving break, here are 5 things most college students realized they were thankful for this week:
1. You are home. In your own bed. For. An. Entire. Week.
Around this time in the semester, we are truly all ready to be home for about a month. Thanksgiving Break is a TEASE, but it still counts as a much-needed break.
2. Home-cooked meals
Because the food in the cafeteria does not compare to the home-cooked meals that have been dearly missed for majority of the semester.
3. Hanging with loved-ones from home
Thanksgiving break makes you wonder how you’ve survived college thus far without your best friends by your side.
4. My parents
The endless sacrifices and hard work they have brought to the family are reminded to you as something that you should never take for granted.
5. College
Let's be honest, we also all need a break from family, so this week was actually more than enough and as it’s said, college makes you thankful for home and home makes you thankful for college.
