Each December baby knows that the second Thanksgiving is over, the countdown to Christmas begins. We've all been there, so you know the feeling of:

1. When people try to give you a joint Christmas and birthday present

No, I get two SEPARATE ones. Just like everyone else!

2. When some of your relatives forget your birthday amidst all the Holiday hype


It's ok, your dog probably remembered!

3. When people don’t want to go out because they’re saving money for Christmas gifts

If you had enough money for Jennifer's birthday in July, you have enough for me now.

4. When you’re trying to find birthday decorations but all Party City has is Christmas stuff

I don't need mistletoe, I need a tiki torch for the luau.

5. When Christmas overshadows the magnitude of you turning a year earlier every time

But it's ok, because we all love Christmas anyways


So here’s to us December babies, let's have a Happy Birthmas!

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
