Being a Senior in College give you so much to think about. What will I be doing when I leave? Where am I going to end up? But while there is so much to think about in the future, there is also a lot to think about when it comes to college memories. While I am super excited to be done with college and moving on to whatever else life has to throw at me, there is so much I will miss.

Here is a list of 5 things I will miss about college.

1. Major specific Classes

This may shock people, but college is for learning after all. When it comes to General Education classes, forget it, but it's different when it comes to classes I am getting my degree in. I love learning about my field. When I get to class I can't discover what else is out there. I know that when I finally get out there and get working I will still be learning, but I will still miss my classes while at college.

2. Late Night runs to Express Mart

Sometimes you just need to go get ice cream! My roommates and I used to stay up late and talk and every once in awhile we would get a craving for something sweet. We would put our coats on and drive over to one of the gas stations (Express Mart) in town and buy ice cream! Those ice cream cookies were huge, and they were so good!!!

3. Sleepovers with my best friend

Unlike some college students, I have never lived in a dorm. Since my first semester at my college, I have lived in an apartment that is considered On Campus housing. I love my apartment at school. I have my own room, which is nice, but it can get lonely. I was fortunate to get placed with an amazing person, whom now I call my best friend. Sometimes we get lonely in our single rooms so we have sleepovers! I will miss that.

4. Independence without all the problems

Being away at college is great. You Finally out of your parent's house, but still get to go home over break which is nice when you are looking for some Independence. Plus, while in school you don't have to worry about paying rent or buying food if you live on campus. For right now it is great! But once graduation happens you have to start paying off those college loans, get a job, and if you don't have some money put away you might just find yourself back in your house with your parents.

5. Friends

Meeting people at college is difficult for me. I do not have that many friends, but the ones I do have I love dearly. Unfortunately, they live hours away from my hometown, so once college ends I don't know how often I will get to see them. That's the great thing about college, your friends are right there. I will definitely miss living so close to them.

While I love college and will miss so many things about it I am excited about moving on to the next chapter of my life. There are so many things out there to do, see, and experience. I really can't wait for what is next... well except for paying to college loans.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
