Everyone has moments of self-doubt. The internet is a big part of that. We see these girls that are icons of beauty and television shows that prove that we aren't smart enough or good enough. Most times we would rather change who we are than be who we are and be proud of who we are. It's normal to think that you're not perfect, but that's because perfect doesn't exist. Now you might be thinking, 'oh my god I hear that all the time, and I just don't believe it anymore', but I want you to take a moment and really think about it. What might be perfect to you won't be perfect to your best friend, your neighbor or your parents.

Therefore perfection is all about perspective. It's also okay to not think you're perfect. It's okay to want to improve on yourself, but it's not okay to put yourself down for every amazing thing that you are made of. Here are some things to remember next time you don't feel confident.

1. You have the ability to make a difference.

You can take the world by surprise. It doesn't take anything to be a good person, and by being a good person you can change the lives of many. If you're good enough to make an impact in someone's life for the better, then you're not only good enough but amazing. You can start a chain reaction and make the whole world a better place one kind gesture at a time.

2. You can do anything you want.

Remember when you were little and your teachers and parents would ask you what you wanted to be and you'd say silly things like princess, astronaut or pop star? Honestly, why not be a princess or an astronaut or a pop star? I mean someone has to, right? Why not let that person be you? Don't let anyone tell you you can't because you can. Being successful in anything is about 80% motivation. If you genuinely want to be these extreme things then DO IT! You are capable.

3. You have the ability to walk away.

You don't have to put up with anyone or anything. You yourself as an individual have the ability to get up and walk away from any situation. There are ample amounts of people that will help you. If you think you have no one, go to a church or a synagog or anywhere where there are genuine people that enjoy helping those that need it. It is a human right to be able to go through life happy, and unafraid of tomorrow. Whether you think so or not, there are more good people than bad ones this earth that would be willing to help.

4. You are incredible.

You are literally amazing! Don't let anyone tell you differently. The world is your runway. You strut your way through life, and you do it with pride.

5. It's okay to have a bad day.

You're allowed to have a day where you just want to watch sad movies and cry. It's okay to just want to be mad at the world, but you can't let it last. You need to get right back up on that horse so to speak. Tomorrow is another day that you can make great. There are so many wonderful things in this world, and being sad will destroy so many fantastic memories that you would make.

Moral of the story, just be you and be proud of it. Do what you want. Be kind to others, and make the world a better place. Be unapologetically yourself. Be the princess or pop star or astronaut in your story. Just do it for yourself, not anyone else. Don't feel like you need to please people. You just have to find your own happiness. It's somewhere, and if you haven't found it yet, you will.
