On a continent that is known for its progressive thoughts and expressive fashion, Sweden encompasses both. Although Sweden is rarely ever mentioned in the fashion world, Swedish stores are really the place to shop at.
Here are five Swedish shops definitely worth looking at.
1. Monki
A personal favorite of mine. Monki combines trendy, popular fashion with an alternative vibe. If you want good quality at a fair price, Monki is definitely the shop for you. You can look trendy and fashionable for a price that won't destroy your bank account. Not to mention the clothes hold up quite well.
2. Cheap Monday
A Swedish store that is known for its ridiculously nice jeans, Cheap Monday. Although Cheap Monday sells all different options of clothing, the jeans are worth a buy. The jeans can be considered a bit pricey, but their fit and comfort make them worth it.
3. & Other Stories
A shop that can be considered a bit pricey, & Other Stories, however, has chic clothes you won't be able to resist. It's an H&M spinoff but they're nothing alike. You're paying for the quality and looks at & Other Stories. Make sure to save up your paychecks because the clothes produced by this store, are definitely worth the price.
4. Weekday
A trend that seems to be reoccurring with Swedish stores, their considerably high prices! However, similarly, the clothes are worth the price. Especially their jackets, they're a steal. You can keep warm throughout the winter, with awesome jackets and sweaters and cool throughout the summer with chic blouses and trousers.
5. Acne
Lastly, Acne. A store that when I first heard about thought had something to do with skin care. It's definitely the highest priced store on this list. A store that can certainly be found in the expensive and fashionable district of Stockholm, it's made a name for itself. Pay tribute to Swedish designs and fashion shopping here and you won't regret it.
