Summer is quickly approaching. This means hanging out with friends, relaxing, pools, bonfires, and endless shore trips. I am one for having fun during summer. I love going places and finding different adventures to go on with my closest friends. Here are some idea of adventures in PA:
(To all my friends reading this, get ready, because we are doing most if not all of these.)
1. Devil’s Pool
Devil’s Pool became very popular this past summer. Hundreds of kids would go up with their friends and jump off this cliff into a pool of water. This hidden place has become the perfect place to take those artsy summer pics. If you’re looking to do something reckless and different, this is your spot.
2. Franklin Square
Franklin Square is one of the public squares laid out by William Penn. The park has a ton family-friendly attractions, including a miniature golf course, classic carousel, burger joints, picnic area, and more. Not to mention that it is so beautiful. Many different events are held down there too.
3. Harbor Park
I know we say we will do this eventually. We all said this last summer, but it really needs to happen. Harbor Park is beautiful. There are over 50 hammocks throughout the park to create a relaxing place to hang out with your friends on those cool summer nights. Harbor Park hosts many other events and activities as well. It's definitely a place to check out.
4. Phillies Games
Summer is the perfect time to go out and watch some baseball. I know it's not that adventurous and people do this all the time, but it is still a lot of fun. If you go with the right people, you can make anything fun. In my opinion, Philly sports teams always have the best fans, so they make any game one worth going too.
5. Pocono Mountains
Hey, we always said mountain trip, right? The mountains are a good place to just get away from everyone and everything. Just spend time in nature, having fun with your friends. Going on hikes, swimming in lakes, getting lost in the woods. It's a giant adventure.
In Philly, there is so much to do. So many places left to be explored in our own City. This summer, I'm doing it all. Will you?
