If you're looking for a stocking stuffer for a college student, look no further than these:
1. An iTunes gift card.
These are pretty easy to get, and they can get college kids more than you realize. When we need a new studying playlist or we need to buy a movie to watch one night when we don't feel like studying or doing homework, this gift will come in handy. Music when walking to class or working out is always a must, and this will be a game changer when a new album comes out on iTunes that everyone wants.
2. Food. Anything food.
Nonperishable food that we can take back to school and eat over the course of the semester is more valuable than you'd think. Having a set amount of meal swipes is one of the biggest struggles when it comes to college, and having little snacks to eat if we run out of meal swipes is one of the most important things to have in our dorm room. Don't underestimate food. It's important.
3. Wall adhesives and small decorations.
You can never have too many wall adhesives. Command hooks and sticky tack are holding up everything in my room, plus a few hooks and things. But wall adhesives are super important, and to go along with wall adhesives, little decorations to hang on these hooks are an important part of any dorm room. The decorations help make your dorm room unique to you, and they help make you feel comfortable.
4. Cozy, fuzzy socks.
Fuzzy socks are a must, especially during the end of the fall semester and in the beginning of the spring semester (that would be January). They give your feet and your toes a little blanket to feel warm and cozy in, and they make me really happy. For bonus points, get ones with crazy designs on them. We love them.
5. Money. Anything monetary.
Honestly, anything involving money is greatly appreciated. Our favorite places to get gift cards to usually include Wawa, Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, and Amazon, but a plain Visa gift card will do just fine. The term "broke college kid" is real, I can tell you that. Any gift that we can get is great.
