The Script

As many of us know, The Script is a very empowering and deep group that has many of its fans holding on by the heartfelt and profound lyrics that get many of us through our days.

1. Superheroes.

The song that encourages us to try our hardest and to be our best no matter what; this song shows us that we can and we will become something amazing. We all start at the bottom, but working our way up and learning life’s most valuable lessons are what make life as rewarding and valuable as it is.

2. If You Ever Come Back

The lyrics that make you feel that it’s okay to want them back. In this song, The Script gives us the foreshadowing vision of what it would be like to have that one person who walked out of your life, walk back in. It gives us hope that the person who is now gone may someday come to a realization and re-enter our lives.

3. For the First Time

The song that ultimately describes how truly hard it can be to deal with a first love’s breakup. In life, we will experience many things and come in contact with all kinds of people. We may even stumble upon a few loves that may make our heart crack into pieces while feeling that it is impossible to pick them up. However, The Script ensures us that everyone is bound to go through an incredibly rough separation at some point or another in time. The song helps to assure us that it will all be settled and no matter how difficult the situation, something positive is bound to come out of it. We are bound to eventually meet someone who brings out the exhilarating feeling of meeting, for the first time.

4. Nothing

The song that ponders whether or not love is worth it at all. Do we keep trying after we get knocked down a thousand times? Is it worth it to chase after someone after so many things have happened? How can we possibly take down a wall that you have been building for so long? The song often gives listeners a feeling of empathy that those who gives us nothing as a response, may spark us to grow the courage to embark on new journeys.

5. If You Could See Me Now

The song that speaks to those who did not believe in us, or have left the world to join the above; for they can finally see the beautiful and truly amazing things we have accomplished in life. If You Could See Me Now, allows us to open up and truly smile at the things we have done and what it would be like if that significant person were there to see it.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
