1. Your Zodiac Sign

This is a good one to get because your zodiac sign never changes, it will always mean something to you and zodiac signs are small.

2. Your Pet’s Name

If you are anything like me and your pet is your best friend, if I were to get a tattoo of my pet it would be his name with his paw print under it. It would always mean something to me because my dog is my best friend and now you’ll always have them with you.

3. A Simple Heart

A heart is easy because it could mean anything and you could personalize it however you want. Also, if you want it to mean more later, they are easy to add on to. For example, maybe later down the road when a big milestone happens (say you get married or have children) you could add the date of your wedding or your child’s name under the heart.

4. A Meaningful Date/Number

A date is always a good idea because then you’ll have that date with you forever. It could be your wedding, your child’s birthday or even a meaningful number. For example, my friends have a bracelet with the number of miles their schools are away from each other.

5. A Special Motivational Word/Phrase

These are my favorite because a motivational word/phrase is what it is - motivational. Whether it’s just the word “smile” or “confident” it always means something.
