5 Signs You’ve Fallen in Love… With A Pair of Jeans

We’ve all got that one pair of jeans that have been through thick and thin with us… Literally. They’ve been stained, stretched, and worn hundreds of times. You feel like you actually have a real love connection to these jeans. No matter how many times you try to find a similar pair, there just isn’t one out there. Here are five signs that prove that you are just as weirdly obsessed as I am.

1. You wear them almost everyday

It sounds gross, but its true. I like to alternate days so people don't notice. I’ll also mix up the look I wear with the jeans. One day I’ll wear a basic tee and the next day I’ll the jeans with some booties, a cute top, and leather jacket. It's a real strategic tactic, I know.

2. And because you wear them almost everyday, you hardly wash them

Ew right?! Wrong. We all do it. And for those of you reading this thinking “I never do that”, you are one hundred percent lying. No one has enough time to wash their favorite pair of jeans after every wear. Plus, you don't want those precious things to fade!

3. You refuse to let them be borrowed

Most of the time when the jeans want to be borrowed, you’re either wearing them or planning on wearing them. Not many people can be trusted with such a beloved pair. Imagine what could happen to them!

4. You've got history

These jeans have been there for you through everything. Whether it's a break up or the first day of college, you were definitely wearing those jeans. You probably received a lot of compliments on the first day of move in… I know I did. They're starting to look “vintage”.

5. They’re irreplaceable

To the left, to the left, is never where I will throw these jeans. Until these babies shrivel up off me, I will continue to wear them with pride. They’ve been there through it all and still remain my favorite.

This ones for you, baggy ripped jeans.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
