Hugging always provides some sort of comfort and safety. I am not talking about those half- hugs where there are limp arms and no love. I am talking about those hugs from family and friends where you feel the warmth and get a solid squeeze.
Do you always want to 'hug it out' after an argument with your friend or family? Does nothing make you more satisfied than a good old fashioned hug?
If you said yes to any of or even both of these two questions, you may be the Number One go to person for hugs in your family or friend group.
Here are some other signs that you are the hugger of your family or friend group....
1. You always greet people with some sort of physical gesture.
Whether it is a hand-shake ( or some may even call it a hand hug), you always want to greet your friend or family member in the nicest way possible. A way that shows how happy you are to see them.
2. You long for better hugs.
Nothing is worse than a half-assed hug. Unfortunately, not many people these days understand the true meaning of how to give a nice, good hug. You wish you could teach your loved ones how to properly hug. It even gets to the point where you call them out on their poor hugging skills.
3. You like to cuddle.
Chances are, if you like to cuddle you also like to hug. I mean, if you really think about it cuddling is like hugging except not standing up. If you like being close to your loved one or feeling their warmth then chances are you also like hugs.
4. You admire Danny Tanner.
You probably know the character Danny Tanner from Full House ( and now Fuller House). One of his main character traits is that he loves to clean and that his go-to way to solve problems is to 'hug it out.' If you find yourself admiring this logic, chances are you are a hugger too.
5. You get happy when you watch other people hug.
If you find yourself smiling when you see others embrace each other. Not because you are creepy or anything... Just simply because you know how nice hugs are and what they mean. You find it sweet when family and friends show that they actually tolerate each other.
If any of these 5 traits sound like you, chances are you are the hugger of your friend group. Like I have mentioned above, a good hug is harder and harder to come by these days. I urge you to keep the hugging culture alive. Even if you aren't a so called "hugger," all I ask is if you could give a hug a day. One hug can really brighten your and the receiver's day. Don't question it, don't underestimate it.
Share the hugs, show the your loved one how much you care with a simple hug!
