So new year, new shows on Netflix! I have done EXTENSIVE research in this topic, as in I curled into a ball and binged on these five and let me tell you what, these five shows are my new favorites at the moment that I want everyone to watch.

The OA

So check this out, when little Prairie Johnson goes missing, she is blind. She comes back, she can see, like sight is all there and everything. She then finds a way to tell her story, and let me tell you what it is a real puller of the ol’ heart strings. This show ends in a cliff hanger that had me screaming at my laptop.

The 100

The last hope for survival is on the Ark, a satellite in orbit above a nuclear wasteland known as Earth, but hope is fleeting. The council has made a decision to send the juvenile delinquents to see if the Earth is viable. Follow Clark and her team while they try to survive on this unknown territory.

Stranger Things

YOOO IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS YET IDK MAN. I lived for this show and can't wait for season 2. So it's set in the past, and let me tell you what, they do such a good job making you believe that you are in the 80’s. Follow Mike and his friends on their search for their missing friend. Its like the x-files but like better.

Black Mirror

If you don't want to sleep and ruin your faith in humanity, I highly recommend this show. There are always new characters with new plots and new storylines every show, and they range from political dramas to social media nightmares. The best thing about this show is you don't have to watch this in order, if you aren't feeling an episode, you can just skip it and move on to the next episode.

3%-

If you like dystopian societies, strap in. When you turn 20, you are enrolled in a “contest”,called the process, to see if you are cut out to be a part of the 3% that live in the Offshore, the utopia that is more advanced than anything else the candidates have ever experienced. Small side note, there are subtitles for english because the show is in Spanish.

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?
