Everyone knows that summer is prime time to Netflix and chill, even if that means sitting alone in your room all day with an overheating laptop. With all the choices offered by streaming services like Netflix, it can be difficult to choose your next television obsession. Here are a few my favorite addictive, entertaining shows offered by Netflix that everyone should add to their list of must-see's.

1. Sherlock

"Sherlock" is the perfect show for the mystery-loving anglophile in all of us. Although there are only three seasons available on Netflix at the moment, don't be perturbed. Sherlock Holmes' unbelievable powers of deduction are sure to keep even the least interested viewer hooked and of course, who doesn't want to spend a summer at apartment 221B? The answer is elementary, dear Watson.

2. "Supernatural"

First of all, "Supernatural" has 10, count them, 10 seasons available to watch on Netflix. That's a whopping 241 episodes for your viewing pleasure. If ever there was a show to binge-watch, "Supernatural" takes the cake. Hot brothers, Sam and Dean, traverse the US taking down monsters, demons, and even archangels-gone-bad in the hopes of protecting the family business: saving people and hunting all things, well, supernatural.

3. "Breaking Bad"

The best way to start off summer is with a bang. Especially if that bang is coming from a meth lab explosion. No, I am not condoning the use of meth as a summer pastime, but I do recommend that you check out "Breaking Bad." Not only is it the most critically acclaimed show of all time, but there are five seasons available to view, so you can spend your summer relishing in Walter White's twisted quest to secure his family's financial future.

4. "Gossip Girl"

While for some, the first few episodes of the dramatic series pose an all too painful reminder of early 2000s fashion and cheesy, scripted humor, "Gossip Girl" is a show that gets better and better as it goes. The twisty, surprising plot lines surrounding the snobbish, Upper East Siders are undeniably enthralling and there is no way to finish the series without figuring out who the mysterious internet blogger, "Gossip Girl," really is. All six seasons are available to watch on Netflix, so make sure you have plenty of macaroons and frozen yogurt nearby before you start watching!

5. "The Office"

Even if you don't have a summer job, "The Office" is the surest way to get your fix of workplace humor. Prepare yourself for 9 seasons of Michael Scott's offbeat humor, Pam and Jim's all-too-wonderful relationship, and the trials and tribulations of the Dunder Mifflin paper company. And, as a bonus, if you finish the US version before summer ends, the original UK version is also available to watch! That's three more seasons just for you!

The five aforementioned series are just a few of the fantastic television shows offered on Netflix. So, if you are in a slump on what to burn the midnight oil watching this summer, consider checking some of these shows out, or better yet, log on to your account and search away! Netflix (and this summer) are yours for the taking! Binge-watch...and chill...to your heart's content!

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
