We have crossed off days on our calendars, we have checked our CBS HD channel reception and we have waited in anticipation for the first full week in April. Why you ask? So that we can appreciate the artful game of golf --and the suave men who play it. Here are some of the most attractive winners in Master's history.
Horton Smith
Horton is best known for winning the first and third Masters tournaments, and looking damn good doing it. The World War II veteran died in 1963 at age 55.
Ben Hogan
Like Smith, Hogan also won the Masters twice. He is widely known for his swing and ball strike theories that earned him a spot in the World Golf Hall of Fame. Hogan is also as wise as he is pretty. He has been quoted famously for saying, “As you walk down the fairway of life you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round."
Arnold Palmer
With a whopping four Masters titles, “the King" is no stranger to the green jacket. Palmer is also pretty familiar with performance outside of the CBS-aired tournament. He has appeared in multiple print and television advertisements since he began his career. Now we get to admire this silver fox from the famous “Half & Half" can.Adam Scott
He is Australian… enough said.
Jordan Spieth
The most recent winner, Spieth is the second youngest winner of the Masters, behind Tiger Woods. Besides holding the 2015 green jacket and a killer smile, the 21 year old has already started his own charity.
Keep loving the game, boys, and we will keep loving to watch.
