What is something 90 percent of the population has in common?

Pizza.

Whether you're the odd one who loves to put Pineapple on your pizzas or the vegan friend that needs a specially made personal-pie, pizza is something that brings everyone together despite your views or ethnicity.

I've visited New York a few times, and I have to say, New York has some amazing pizzas, however, I've had some here in California that hold a special place in my heart.

For those who are looking for a more adventurous take on pizza, here are five pizza places that may just be better than New York pizza.

1. Blue Line Pizza

Since 2004, Blue Line has brought delicious pizza to the Bay Area. Known for their cornmeal crust deep dish pizzas, Blue Line Pizza will definitely have your mouth watering before you even get to your table. Besides their amazing talent at making pizza, they have a wide variety of beer, wine, spirits and salads.

2. Patxi's Pizza

So who knew that eating pizza could make you feel so fancy? Patxi's will make you feel like the king/queen of pizza when they bring you their gourmet pizzas. I currently have my eye on the Spring Asparagus Pizza.

3. Oak & Rye

If you're ever in the Los Gatos area and you're craving a delicious, cheesy, rewarding bite, head over to Oak & Rye. Known as a sophisticated Italian Bistro, Oak & Rye specializes in small plates. So if you're looking to munch on delicious food but want to keep your bikini body, don't worry. Oak & Rye is the perfect place for you.

4. The Garret of Campbell

The Garret of Campbell is one of the most popular pizza places in San Jose, specifically in little Campbell, CA. In the 1970s, The Garret was the hotspot for pizza, beer and family fun.

5. La Pizzeria

La Pizzeria gives you REAL Italian pizza. In 2006, Chef Antonella decided to bring genuine and real Italian cuisine to the Bay Area. She created a wonderful establishment that welcomes family, friends and tourists who are looking for a slice of Italy in the beautiful Bay Area.

Did I convince you yet?

OK, so maybe you need to decide for yourself. Next time you find yourself in the South Bay, make sure you discover these wonderful restaurants.

Forget about Dominos, Pizza Hut or Round Table. When it comes to these pizza places, change is definitely a good thing.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
