1. It’s a great workout

Many people who have never done yoga before have the perception that it is “easy” or that you “just lay there.” This my friends, is not true at all. During one yoga practice, it is possible to exercise every muscle group.

2. You don’t have to have any experience to try it

Never tried yoga in your life? No problem. There is a huge variety of classes from beginner to advanced so there is always a place for you. Plus, every class offers modifications for the more challenging poses.

3. It’s relaxing

It can be really hard to let your thoughts go and be present in the current moment. Yoga allows you to let go of your worries and responsibilities for an hour and focus on your practice. Being able to escape for a short time leaves you feeling refreshed and more motivated.

4. There is always more to practice

Anyone who has been practicing for any amount of time will never tell you that they have perfected it. There are always different things to try and ways you can push yourself so you will never get bored of yoga.

5. Flexibility

Becoming more flexible has a ton of benefits for your body, especially if you are an athlete or someone who does other types of exercise often. Things like running and weightlifting can make our muscles very tense and without stretching, this tension can cause pain.

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
