If you don't own a pair you've most likely heard of them and if you haven't, you need to. I was at first very skeptical about Chacos. I thought they were the ugliest shoes you could put on your feet. I couldn't understand why my friends and everyone around me were wearing them. I didn't understand the appeal to the scrappy sandals and definitely didn't understand why people were willing to throw a $100 or more for the touristy looking shoes. A change of heart came my way after trying on my first pair of Chacos. Now I refuse to wear any other shoe.

1. They're beyond comfortable.

I refuse to take my Chacos off. They're like shoes made of clouds strapped onto my feet.

2. They may not be as stylish as Jack Rogers or flip flops, but you can wear them with anything anytime.

Chacos may seem like a shoe you'd only wear if you were hiking a few miles up a mountain, but Chacos are, a lot of the time, a casual shoe you can see at the mall or worn around campus.

3. The support is amazing.

Having no arch in my foot it makes it hard to find shoes that are comfortable. Luckily, Chacos makes different styles of shoes with soles that have arches for people like me.

4. Chacos have so many colors and styles to fit what you like.

There's different styles of Chacos, every color strap you could imagine. Don't like a strap between your toes? No problem. You're favorite color is purple? They've got them. They even have a Grateful Dead collection of Chacos, one of my personal favorites.

5. You'll never want to take them off your feet!

The only downfall to Chacos is you can't exactly wear them in the winter, and they're a little on the pricey side for some shoes you can only wear in the warm weather. Despite what you think of Chacos, don't knock 'em until you try them. I never thought I'd be caught dead in a pair of Chacos, and now they're all I wear. They're the best pair of shoes you'll put on your feet! Don't believe me? I dare you to give them a try.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
